Since setting out our Strategic Plan 2024-2026 we have also taken the first steps of grant-giving, particularly into research areas reflected in our strategic aims.
Our research funding began in 2024 with a request for proposals for a piece of work which is intended to contribute to the research base into the principles for holistic education.
Waldorf Learning Foundation opened an application window for a doctoral researcher / research team to bid for a contract to conduct a literature review and report for publication.
The successful candidate will be interrogating the area and produce:
“A literature review of research into the application of Multisensory Integration and Motor Skills Development (MSI & MSD) in global pedagogies (educational philosophies, policies and practices) and therapeutic models and provision, with a specific focus on relevant curricula, assessment and intervention frameworks, in relationship to the parallel disciplines of occupational health, educational psychology, neurophysiology, and sports science, and with reference to neurology and evolutionary anthropology. ”
