Natasha was appointed as Finance & Operations Manager in September 2021 having worked for the charity in admin support and finance roles since January 2019.

As a young child I was fortunate to be able to attend a Waldorf kindergarten. Following a move to London, I attended a mainstream primary school until the age of 11 when a move to Gloucestershire enabled me once again to attend a Waldorf school. Whilst both these differing provisions offered me the joy of learning, my years in Waldorf education were truly formative, and helped me to develop a sense of strength and balance within, that has not only served me well, but also given me the gifts of resilience and of feeling comfortable within myself.

Having initially trained in Early Years Childcare, I then worked both locally and nationally, in business and for charities, and have extensive experience of developing business streams and management in all areas relating to operations, finance and project delivery. Having taken a key role in developing a small start-up through its first years of trading, culminating in national distribution of its products, I then spent ten years as an owner-operator of another start-up that was subsequently successfully acquired.

My journey back to Waldorf education came with the arrival of our three children. As a result of them attending a Waldorf kindergarten, my interest and love of the pedagogy was reignited and I joined a small team of parents and educationalists as we developed, and gained support for, an application to the Department for Education to open a Free School based on the Waldorf curriculum.

Due to a lack of need for new school places in the area, the application was not successful, but my interest and desire to be involved in the pedagogy in some way grew. The circle was complete when I joined the Waldorf school, that both I and my children had attended, as a staff member providing operational and financial management; a role I then carried over to Waldorf Learning Foundation.
