Bijal Majithia joined the Board in January 2025, bringing a distinctive blend of leadership expertise in mindfulness, conscious leadership, and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
With over a decade of experience shaping organisational culture across global, complex environments, she has established herself as a transformative leader committed to building inclusive, values‑driven workplaces.
As a founding member of the Women’s Faith Forum, Bijal plays a key role in creating platforms within Parliament where women of all faiths can engage on pressing social, cultural, and policy issues. Her commitment to advancing equity extends to her work as a mentor with The Girls’ Network, supporting girls from underserved communities, and as an ambassador and educator for Binti International, where she advocates for menstrual dignity and education worldwide.
Bijal is also the Director and Founder of Veda London, a non‑profit organisation delivering mindfulness, meditation, conscious leadership, and wellbeing programmes that have supported thousands across corporate and public‑sector organisations. Her insights as a British Indian woman and practising Hindu have made her a sought‑after voice on Diversity & Inclusion panels, and she regularly contributes reflections on identity, faith, and society through BBC Radio 2’s “Pause for Thought.”
Her work has been recognised nationally and globally. Bijal was named in the Workplace Leaders Top 50 (2024), shortlisted for the Women in Finance Awards (2020), and celebrated in influential rankings including the EMpower Ethnic Minority Future Leaders list (#6) and the Global Yahoo HERoes list for her impact in advancing inclusion and representation.
With a forward‑thinking and compassionate leadership approach, Bijal brings strategic insight, cultural intelligence, and a deep commitment to social impact to her role on the Board.
